AUTO DETAILING OPERATION TAKES SERVICE TO CUSTOMER

Custom Auto Detailing has opened in Cape Girardeau.

"This is a mobile business," said Susan Myrick, a partner in the operation. "We go to the customers."

The new service, a family affair owned by Richard Myrick, Susan Myrick and their son, Gregg Myrick, offers a complete auto detailing operation.

"We wash, wax and buff the vehicles," said Susan Myrick. "We clean windows, we shampoo seats and carpeting, and clean and dress the vehicle."

The auto detailing business is not new to her.

"We lived in Florida before moving to Cape Girardeau last year," she said. "We operated a similar business there for five years."

Myrick said the mobile detailing business was big in Florida.

"We will go to a customer's house or business," she said. "All we need is a water hookup and an electrical outlet."
