SIKESTON -- The Four Seasons Audubon Society of Southeast Missouri will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at Savings of America in Sikeston.
The program will be given by Joe Garvey of Missouri Department of Conservation Forestry Division, concerning forestry management on public land.
This month's field trip will be Saturday to Donelson Point State Forest. Participants should bring lunch and binoculars. Forest personnel will provide examples of forestry management techniques, as well as sightings of nesting Bald Eagles.
Those leaving from Cape Girardeau should meet at Capaha Park swimming pool parking lot at 7:30 a.m., and those leaving from Sikeston should meet at the junction of County Roads U and WW near New Madrid at 8:45. Expected return is 3 p.m.
