The Missouri Attorney General's office is prosecuting the case against a Kennett, Missouri, man accused of murder.
The case against Jeremy Corcoran will be handled by assistant attorney general G. Brad Crowell, said Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney Jeff McCormick. McCormick said he is no longer prosecuting Corcoran because of a conflict of interest.
Crowell entered his appearance March 5. A case review in Butler County Circuit Court set for Tuesday is rescheduled for 10 a.m. May 19 before Circuit Court Judge Michael Pritchett. The matter is in Butler County after a change of venue.
Corcoran is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the 2014 shooting death of Andy Tijerina, also of Kennett. Corcoran allegedly shot Tijerina several times on the night of June 7 after an altercation.
