The Southeast Missourian asked people about their Thanksgiving Day family traditions.
LaDora Sides: "My side of the family usually comes to my house for lunch. We have the evening meal with my husband's side of the family. We all bring something."
Beverly Nelson: "We're just the traditional All-American turkey family. We try to spend part of the day with my father and part of the day with my husband's mother."
Wendy Wessel: "We go to my mom's here in Jackson. People are in and out going to other families, so we don't have a definite time to eat. We'll have turkey, ham, broccoli casserole and homemade pies."
Todd Rushing: "We get together and everybody contributes some to the meal, usually turkey and dressing, but sometimes ham. We'll watch football on TV after we eat."
Norman Tuschhoff: "We always have turkey with all the trimmings and a lot of friends and children in for the holiday. We'll have a full house all day."
