The Southeast Missourian asked people in Jackson what they thought about the recent drug bust in their town.
Robert Morrison
"I don't think Jackson has a drug problem. As long as I have been up here we have never seen any of that."
Jane Kracke
"I don't think any town is clean of drugs, and I think the police should continue looking at this problem."
Jim Baylor
"I think Jackson has drugs but not like places like Cairo and some other towns. I don't believe you're going to get away from drugs anymore."
Darryl Wright
"They haven't solved the problem yet. I have a kid in high school so I know how the problem is. They still have a problem and it's visible to me."
Steve Logan
"The drug bust surprised me. I think Jackson's problems are very minuscule compared to the larger communities. I think we have experimental users, but I don't see any hard core users."
