The Southeast Missourian asked people what they thought about the new Jackson water tower being painted with "Jackson -- Home of the Indians" in red and black lettering.
Christy Wilkinson:
"It will look good. It would feel good for living in Jackson and it would be a positive thing."
Vickey Vandeven:
"I think it's great because it will show people coming into our area how much we support our schools."
Scott McCormack:
"It's a good idea. It would bring a sense of pride to the town, in the school and the teams, and let people know where Jackson is."
Patty Reisenbichler:
"It's a wonderful idea. Jackson is a big sports town. We support our schools and it shows good community support."
Rick Brown:
"It's a great idea. It shows community spirit. People will see it and recognize that Jackson is a good community."
