State Rep. David Schwab has run unopposed for his last three elections. The Southeast Missourian asked people, "Do you think it's time for another Republican or Democrat to run?"

Rita Beggs: "I think he is doing a great job. If they are doing a great job, why replace them?"

Allen Boren: "I think Dave Schwab is doing an excellent job. He stays current with all Missouri problems, and he deals with them very well. He not only listens to people but also asks for opinions and ideas on important issues."

Denny Borneman: "I believe we need a Democrat to run for the office. I think we could be running things more efficiently with more Democratic representatives."

Steve Henry: "I think Dave has been doing a good job. Since he has been unopposed, I guess everyone else thinks he has been doing a good job too."

Carolyn Thompson: "I think someone should run from each ticket. I like to see the parties bicker and fight about it. I like to have a choice."
