The Southeast Missourian asked people how they are coping with the fall allergy season.

Pat Wachter: "It bothers me in the summer time too. It comes and goes. When I am out in the wind, it makes my eyes water. They tell me it doesn't get better with age either."

Brandy Boyd: "I get a little stopped up. Lately it has bothered me off and on. It's not really too bad. I am pretty much all right the rest of the year. It's been a little better this year."

Wes Orrell: "The only time I am bothered is in the morning. It usually gets worse closer to November and December. I get a runny nose and sometimes headaches and sore throat."

Scott Lape: "When I'm working in the barn, it will get to me a little bit, but not too bad. It's probably dusty hay. My horse sneezes and her nose runs. It's not serious, though."

Bob Holmburg: "It's pretty much sinus problems for me, mostly in the summer and at harvest time. I lived in Florida for about 15 years and didn't have any problem until I moved here. I'm looking forward to winter."
