The Southeast Missourian asked people how they felt about workers taking a company-sanctioned 20-minute nap during the work day.

Amie Runnels: "I think it's a great idea, but I don't think it would ever work. Being a cosmetologist, you barely have a chance to get lunch with people coming in and out, and you never know what to expect during the day."

Cindy Luebbers: "For me, 20 minutes would not be enough. I would need an hour, and I don't have time to take that long for a nap. I don't have enough hours in the day as it is."

Dennis Sanders: "I recently read about a study which concluded that employees who do take a 20 to 30-minute nap are more productive. I would not have a problem with it, but I don't see myself doing it."

William Penrod: "It would be a good deal if you could get by with it. I could not do it, because someone else might need to depend on me. Actually, it's ridiculous. Like day care, would you need to provide mats too?"

Mike Clippard: "I don't think it's necessary at all. You don't need 20 minutes of sleep on the job. If you're going to work, go to work. If you're going to sleep, stay home."
