The Southeast Missourian asked people what they thought about the new U.S. postage stamp that honors Bugs Bunny.

Gladys Bollinger: "I think we need a little more humor. People getting a letter with Bugs Bunny on it would probably smile. I bought the stamps with birds and flowers, so I'll probably use Bugs Bunny too."

Angie Jeffers: "I think it's a cute idea. I would buy them because they're kind of a fun thing. It might brighten a person's day if they get a letter with Bugs on it."

Sheila Sander: "I think it's really neat. I like to pick different stamps for my mail. I think when people receive mail with a different kind of stamp they know you took time to make it special for them."

Joe Bollinger: "I think it's great. It puts a little more humor back into the mail system, but I think the whole world needs more humor. That is one of the best stamps I've seen. It beats Elvis."

Steve Oldham: "I think that variety is the spice of life. They have so many kinds of postage stamps. It would be great for gifts for children, or for mail you send to kids, like birthday cards."
