The Southeast Missourian asked kindergarten pupils at Jackson Primary Annex what they thought about a full-day kindergarten class which will be initiated next year with a pilot program at North Elementary School.
Gabe Eggers: "I think they would learn more. Sometimes I wish I could stay longer when it's time to go home."
Kellie King: "They could have more fun if they went all day. They would have more time and not have to hurry."
Blake Stagner: "It would be fair for them. They would have more time to learn, and they would get to do more."
Colin Myers: "They could learn more and have more fun with their friends. They could eat lunch at school too."
Cathy Buza: "You would get to have more fun going all day. You would get to go to centers more, and eat at school."
