President Bill Clinton has declared March American Red Cross Month, a time for helping others in your community. In celebration, Red Cross wants people to give blood.
The American Red Cross has scheduled several blood drives in the next few weeks.
The Oak Ridge PTO will sponsor a blood drive at the high school cafeteria Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. There will be a free T-shirt for all donors.
The Meadow Heights High School Student Council blood drive will be held in the high school cafeteria March 20, from 2 to 7 p.m. There will also be a free T-shirt for all donors here.
Thomas Kelly School Beta Club will hold a blood drive in the high school gym March 24 from 2 to 7 p.m.
Blood donors must be at least 17, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.
