Millions of dollars of renovations are underway at the Arch and its grounds. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported the trams and the underground visitors center will close for at least two months starting Jan. 4 as part of the renovation project.

The Jefferson National Expansion Memorial says Arch rides and some features of the visitors center will reopen in March or later in the spring.

The $380 million reconstruction project will include a new, larger underground museum and many other improvements.
