ANTI-ABORTION ACTIVIST TO SPEAK AT SEMO OCT. 18

Penny Lea, a nationally known anti-abortion speaker, will make a presentation at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 in Academic Auditorium.

Her visit is being sponsored by the Collegians For Life and by Student Government at Southeast Missouri State University.

Admission is free with a Southeast I.D. There is a charge for the general public.

Lea has traveled around the country since 1982, delivering her anti-abortion message.

She has addressed political leaders, medical staffs, clergy, and college, high school and elementary students.

Lea said, "I do my best to gear my message to the ears that are listening. Whether it be the White House staff members or a fifth-grade class, we are all part of God's magnificent family."

Lea has been a guest on hundreds of talk shows in the United States and Canada.

"There is so much to say and so little time to get the message out," she said.
