Prohibited items include yard waste, motor oil, hazardous material and tires. Appliances, televisions and computer monitors will no longer be picked up during the Clean Up-Fix Up event; however, they can be disposed of daily at the recycling center for a small fee.

Waste should be put at curbside only during the week of the event. Those who put out their items early could be issued a ticket by the police department for violating public nuisance laws.

For more information, call the Public Works Department at 243-2300 or the Sanitation Department at 243-2333.
