ANDERSON SELECTED AS YOUTH OF THE YEAR

Jessica Anderson has been selected the Exchange Club of Cape Girardeau's Youth of the Year for 1994-95.

She is a senior at Central High School where she is ranked No. 1 in her class and is a National Merit Commended Student. She was chosen for the Missouri Scholars 100 Program, and has been designated an Academic All-American by the National Association of Swim Coaches of America.

She is president of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, vice-president of National Honor Society, and a member of the Student Advisory Committee and the Student Prayer Group. She is a captain of the varsity swim team and has received numerous awards during her four years on the team, including All-State.

She is a member of Cape Bible Chapel and has served on Student Leadership. She will be attending Taylor University in Upland, Ind., this fall.

She is the daughter of Dave and Jan Anderson.
