Amy Grant, the one-time gospel music great who's now making it big on the pop charts, will return to the Show Me Center Nov. 15.
Grant's current release, "Heart in Motion," has spawned the hit singles "Baby, Baby" and "Every Heartbeat." The winner of five Grammys, Grant has sold over 10 million records worldwide.
She first appeared at the Show Me Center in December 1988, in support of her Grammy-winning album, "Lead Me On," and her Grammy-nominated duet with Peter Cetera, "Next Time I Fall."
On "Heart in Motion," Grant continues to present a dramatically different side to her music. She wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on the album, which center on contemporary themes and emotions.
Opening for Grant at the 7:30 p.m. show will be newcomer Kim Hill.
Tickets for the performance go on sale Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Show Me Center box office. Prices are $17.50 and $15.50.
Tickets are also available at the following outlets: the University Center on the Southeast Missouri State University campus; Sears in Cape Girardeau; Disc Jockey Records in Cape Girardeau, Carbondale and Paducah; and Mercantile Banks in Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, Perryville and Dexter.
Tickets can be charged by phone by calling the box office at 651-5000.
The first six rows of seats for Grant's show are available at the Show Me Center box office exclusively.
