A fugitive sought in Tennessee was arrested in Cape Girardeau, thanks to a tip from the television show "America's Most Wanted."

The show contacted the Cape Girardeau Police Department on Sunday, according to Sgt. Barry Hovis.

Raymond Deshun Ross, 22, was wanted on a warrant for carjacking in Lexington, Tenn., when police learned from the show that he could be in the Cape Girardeau area. Based on that information, the suspect was located at a local home at about 4 a.m, and arrested without incident.

Ross is awaiting extradition back to the state of Tennessee.
