Southeast Missouri State University and the community are connected in so many ways, one of which involves public radio and Amanda Lincoln of Jackson.
Lincoln has been the associate director of development of Southeast Public Radio since June 29, 2006.
Formerly with the American Red Cross, Lincoln now helps raise funds for the pubic radio station at the university.
"I really love being part of the university," she said. "It's great to be back on campus where I went to school. It's a great way to communicate ideas and connect the people who want to help with what they enjoy."
Lincoln is also involved with the programming of the public radio station.
"I'm really motivated by the people I work with," Lincoln said. "Whether they are donors or co-workers, I like to connect people with what they enjoy most. I enjoy making connections and that inspires me to make sure we are still here."
