Allison to begin Army training in April

Christopher Paul Allison was recently commissioned into the Infantry Branch of the U.S. Army as second lieutenant. He will begin his Army training at Fort Benning, Ga., in April. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 2007 with a degree in mechanical engineering. Allison graduated from Notre Dame Regional High School in 2003. He is the son of Terry and Susan Allison; the grandson of Catherine Allison and the late Paul L. Allison, all of Cape Girardeau; and the grandson of the late Ray and Donna Kerfeld of Freeport, Minn.
