All Clubs Day was held March 27 at New Salem United Methodist Church. Lamplighters Club hosted the meeting, and Lee Anderson presided. The devotional was given by Judie Herbst.
Gala Volz was elected to represent FCE on the county extension board. Quilt tickets were handed out, Verna Vogel reminded members of tours this year, and it was noted volunteers are needed to judge at 4-H County Achievement Day.
Mary Gosche handed out a lesson and announced the scholarship application deadline is May 15.
The morning program was given by Dodie Eisenhauer from Village Designs at Grandma's House in Daisy. An auction was held with Dortha Strack, Herbst, and Verna Petzoldt as auctioneers.
Lunch was prepared and served by the women of the church.
The afternoon program included gospel singing and words of inspiration by Cheryl Fortner.
Membership pins were presented to: Vogel and Bert Seyer, 35 years; Jackie Kurre and Roberta Seabaugh, 30 years; Herbst, Lois LaBruyere and Sharon Bogenpohl, 25 years; Anna Glen and Shirley Palen, 20 years; Helen Lowes and Deloris Meyr, 10 years.
The Lamplighters Club received a certificate for hosting the event. Kage Club received a certificate in honor of its 55th anniversary.
Town and Country Club was chosen Club of the Year.
Following the meeting, members visited Grandma's House.
