AIR MOBILITY COMMAND BAND OF MID-AMERICA TO PERFORM JAN. 24

The Air Mobility Command Band of Mid-America will perform at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Central High School Auditorium.

The band, sponsored by the The United States Air Force, performs primarily in the Midwest and is based at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois.

It also has performed in South America, the Caribbean and the Azores. The band has performed with Tex Benecke, trombonist Bill Porter.
