Two more big agriculture programs are on scheduled this month the New Trends in Agriculture at the Show Me Center on Southeast Missouri State University campus in Cape Girardeau, and the No-Till Crop Production Field Day at Milan, Tenn.
The New Trends program at Cape Girardeau will be held July 17-18, and features "something for everyone."
Youth programs, lawn and garden clinics, plant disease clinic, crop and livestock seminars are on the agenda during the two days.
Bruce Gardner, assistant U.S. Secretary of Agriculture for Economics, and Thomas J. Hoogheem, manager of Environmental Issues for Monsanto Agriculture Company at St. Louis, will be keynote speakers at the program.
No-till and ridge-till production will be the primary topics at the Tennessee program, a one-day event, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., event on July 25.
