ADVANCE, Mo. — An Advance woman died of injuries suffered during a two-vehicle crash Sunday in Bollinger County.

At 5:30 p.m. on Highway 91 about three miles north of Advance, Christina N. Parker, 31, of Marble Hill, Missouri, was traveling north, and Alvin R. Fox, 79, of Advance was driving south when the front of Parker’s vehicle struck the front of Fox’s vehicle, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Fox’s passenger, Mary G. Fox, 75, of Advance was pronounced dead Sunday night at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Alvin Fox and Parker suffered moderate injuries and were taken to Saint Francis Medical Center. Fox’s 12-year-old passenger, Sydney Cobb of Advance, suffered serious injuries and was flown to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
