An Advance, Mo., man pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to possessing methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it.
Brian Charles Nalley, 42, pleaded guilty to one felony count of possession of 5 grams or more of methamphetamine with intent to distribute before U.S. District Judge Stephen N. Limbaugh Jr., according to the federal prosecutor's office.
Nalley also agreed to forfeit $3,555 in drug proceeds and a 1996 Harley-Davidson motorcycle as a part of the plea.
Limbaugh set sentencing for July 17 in Cape Girardeau.
Nalley faces a maximum of 40 years' imprisonment and a $2 million fine, or both, followed by at least four years of supervised release.
On Nov. 29, officers with the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department and the SEMO Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at Nalley's residence near Advance.
About one-half of an ounce of a substance was found, which later tested positive for methamphetamine at a Drug Enforcement Administration laboratory.
