ADKISSON RESIGNS FROM CBV

Laurel Adkisson has resigned as marketing coordinator for the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), effective Aug. 7.

Adkisson, who worked with the CVB two years, said she had accepted a new position with a bank in Cape Girardeau.

Prior to accepting the CVB position in May of 1990, Adkisson had worked with the Holiday Inn six years, four years in the company's sales department.

"Adkisson was a real asset to our organization," aid Robert Hendrix, president of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, in announcing her resignation.

Hendrix said the search process for a new market coordinator was under way.
