JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Thousands of utility customers remained without power Sunday from the severe storms that hit southern Missouri on Friday. State emergency officials say 48,800 residents still didn't have power Sunday. The storms Friday killed four people and injured 12. The State Emergency Management Agency said some areas in Southeast Missouri may have outages that last several days. The state Department of Transportation reports 10 road closures due to high water.
