A narrow squeeze for traffic

Traffic moves past a street repair crew pouring concrete Tuesday in the 1800 block of Perryville Road north of Cape Rock Drive in Cape Girardeau. The work is part of the Transportation Trust Fund 4 program in which transportation projects are handled on a “pay-as-you-go” basis. Voters have renewed the program three times since it began in 1995.
