A group of about 40 Cape Girardeau and Perryville Clubhouse members and counselors traveled to Jefferson City for the recent Mental Health Awareness Day. The activities were held on the grounds of the Capitol Building.
The group had the opportunity to meet Rep. Mary Kasten, R-Cape Girardeau.
A large patchwork quilt was created from patches donated by the various groups that traveled the state.
Paula Carter was speaker of the day.
