Four people were injured Tuesday in two accidents on Southeast Missouri roads.
Three of the injuries occurred in a single-vehicle accident at 8:10 a.m. on Route A, three miles east of Marquand.
A passenger, Linda Roak, 34, of Grassy was taken to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries. Driver Brenda Humphreys, 20, of Hiram, Mo., was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries.
Another passenger, Jeff Humphreys, 26, of Hiram sustained minor injuries but refused treatment.
A spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said the car ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree when the driver fell asleep.
The other accident occurred at 12:45 p.m. on U.S. 60, two miles west of Sikeston. One of the drivers, Bobbie King, 23, of Sikeston sustained minor injuries. She was taken to Delta Community Medical Center in Sikeston.
The other driver was Cloid Harms, 24, of Evansville, Ind.
A Missouri Highway Patrol spokesman said Harms was driving carelessly and imprudently, passing in the face of oncoming traffic and running off the roadway on the wrong side.
