FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Two Perryville, Mo., women and a Farmington, Mo., man were seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday afternoon near Fredericktown.
Driver Theresa Miller, 35, and one of her passengers, Christina Moser, 28, were taken by helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after the 4:30 p.m. accident on Route J, 5 miles northeast of Fredericktown.
A passenger in the other vehicle, 44-year-old Gregory Denton of Farmington, was taken to Madison Medical Center in Fredericktown with serious injuries.
Sustaining moderate injuries were Raymond Cooper, 22, of Fredericktown and Lynn Denton, 46, of Farmington. Cooper was a passenger in the Miller vehicle, while Denton was driving the other vehicle.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Theresa Miller's vehicle crossed the center line on a downhill curve and struck the Denton vehicle head-on.
