3 HURT IN WRECK

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Three people were hurt Sunday afternoon in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 55.

Cecilia Baldaco, 23, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Consuelo J. Estephen, 10, were taken to Perry County Hospital after the accident on I-55 north of the Route T overpass.

Defino Sanchez, 25, of Vera Cruz, Mexico, was also hurt.

The Missouri Highway Patrol said Baldaco tried to switch front seats and lost control of the vehicle, which hit a rock bluff and overturned.
