Twenty people have been named to the 1991-1992 Board of Directors of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Caring Foundation for Children.
The charitable, not-for-profit foundation was established in 1987 to provide access to basic, preventive care for children whose families are without private or public health-care benefits.
Among members appointed to the board are Gary Rust, publisher and owner of Concord Publishing Company; Nancy Green, publisher, Springfield News Leader; Mary Anne McCollum, mayor of Columbia; Dian Sprenger, senior vice president, Missouri Hospital Association; and Fred Tinning, president, Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Board Chairman is Dr. Richard Bradley, president and CEO, MOMEDICO.
More than 3,000 children are protected through the foundation.
