FRISCO -- A 2-year-old passenger in a car involved in an accident Friday died Sunday at Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
The passenger, Walter Neeley of Sikeston, was the second fatality of the accident that sent eight other people to area hospitals.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the child was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Yuselian Lane, 22, of Sikeston.
Simeon Huff, 18, of Cairo, Ill., was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Lane was driving the vehicle north on Highway 153 one mile south of Frisco in Stoddard County at approximately 4:35 p.m. The vehicle left the road and overturned, police said. None of the 10 people inside the car was wearing restraints.
Injured were:
-- Lane, who was taken to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston with moderate injuries.
-- Tameik Booker, 19, of Sikeston, who was taken to Missouri Delta with moderate injuries.
-- Meikisha Booker, 1, of Sikeston, who was taken to Dexter Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
-- Milan Thompson, an infant, of Sikeston, who was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with serious injuries.
-- Kardioes Baker, 2, of Sikeston, who was taken to Dexter Memorial with serious injuries.
-- Christy Smith, 17, of Sikeston, who was taken to Missouri Delta with moderate injuries.
-- Faddie Flye, 19, and Eugene Haley, 19, both of Sikeston, who received minor injuries.
