MOREHOUSE -- Two passengers sustained serious injuries Monday night in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 60 at Highway 114.

The driver of the vehicle was Rachel Leist, 16, of Dexter.

A spokeswoman for the Missouri Highway Patrol said her westbound vehicle ran off the north side of the road. She overcorrected, and the vehicle traveled off the south side of the road. The vehicle then struck a railroad crossing signal and overturned.
