TAMMS, Ill. -- Voters in Tamms re-elected two incumbents and a third member to the Board of Trustees Tuesday.
Incumbents Roy Dillow and Carl Hileman will remain on the board. Joining them will be Larry S. Essex.
Current board member Don Allen did not file for re-election.
Dillow collected 132 votes. Hileman earned 130 votes, and Essex had 98 votes.
Three other candidates seeking seats on the board were defeated. Darold Dunning had 87 votes; Dudley Crayton had 62 votes, and Sharon Hesselmeyer had 41 votes.
