MOBERLY, Mo. -- Two women have been arrested after authorities accused them of bringing marijuana to a central Missouri jail.
Officers with the North Missouri Drug Task Force and Moberly police arrested a 29-year-old woman from Harrison, Ark., and a 22-year-old Springfield, Mo., woman after they allegedly brought marijuana to the Moberly Correctional Facility, where they were visiting an inmate.
KMIZ reported the two women were arrested Saturday on a charge of delivery of a controlled substance to a correctional facility. They're being held on $75,000 bond at the Randolph County Jail.
Authorities say two juveniles were taken into protective custody and turned over to the Randolph County Juvenile Office.
