ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Two adults and one child are critically injured after a school bus and a car collided head on in St. Louis.

The wreck happened around 8 a.m. Thursday. Seven children on the bus that was en route to Mason Ridge Elementary School were taken to a hospital for evaluation, but none were believed to be injured.

The car was carrying two adults and two children. Both adults and a boy in the car were in critical condition. The second child in the car had minor injuries.

It wasn't immediately clear who was at fault. An investigation continues.

Names of the victims have not been released.

A third car was also involved in the wreck, but no one in it was hurt.
