This team played in the Jackson Softball League, formed in 1937 and played through 1941, when the league was disbanded due to World War II. The Roloff team won the championship twice. Each of the eight teams played once or twice a week. Games were played under the lights at the Jackson High School football stadium.

The diamond was all grass so that the field would not be damaged for the football season.

Besides Roloff Foods, other team sponsors included Jones Drug, International Shoe Co., Gilmore Trucking Co., Lewis Oil and Stogie's Texaco.

Each time the Roloff team won a game, Mr. Roloff treated his players to ice cream made at his grocery store.
