Singing from the heart

Kindergarteners from Jackson's East Elementary School sang Valentine's Day tunes Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020, at the Jackson Senior Center. Kindergarten teacher Jana Scott said there were about 90 students, from four kindergarten classes, who sang as part of a service project to reach out to and do something kind for the community. The students gave out valentine cards, which Scott said the students made, to people at the center at the end of the program.
