Walk to End Alzheimer's

The Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer's took place Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at Cape Girardeau County Park North in Cape Girardeau. According to the Alzheimer’s Association website, a blue flower stands for a person with Alzheimer’s or dementia; a purple flower represents a person who has lost someone to the disease; a yellow flower stands for a person who is supporting or caring for a person with Alzheimer’s; and orange is for “everyone who supports the cause and vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.”
