A Kenworth truck sits in a free-flowing creek at the bottom of a hill off of Larch Lane Thursday afternoon April 26, 2018, three miles north of Jackson, after running off the right side of the road, overturning and striking a ditch. The driver sustained moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. The vehicle was totaled and fire departments from Jackson and Fruitland responded to contain spilt oil which contaminated the creek.
