I found this article on facebook, attributed to Rural Missourian magazine. I hope you all find it as interesting and informative as I did. Just finding this new web site made my day.

  • Do you know there are at least six different battles that go by the name of 'Battle of Carthage'?

    They begin with the best known of them, the Roman siege of the city by that name in 149 B.C., and continue through the American Civil war.

  • There was another version printed in this month's Rural Missourian. Too new to be on their web site.

    It is pretty similar, some different details.
