Shutdown, security
The shutdown is over. Will the Democrats realize this or will they do nothing on border security as always? They have 3 weeks to do something, but will probably go on vacation again instead.
Team Congress
As the two major political parties claim victory for ending the partial government shutdown, there was only one winner -- Congress. The politicians get to walk around pounding their chests proclaiming how their superior negotiating skills won the day. It is all nonsense. The biggest losers in this whole fiasco were the citizens of the United States. They lost: a secure border, reduction in opioid smuggling, curtailing of child exploitation/human trafficking, law enforcement from preventing heinous crimes committed by those in the country illegally, and the list goes on and on.
Shutdown costs
Trump should just shut the government down again now. It worked so well last month, right? $3 billion loss to the economy and active duty Military/Coast Guard and their families having to beg for food. Are we winning yet?
Intelligence where?
House intelligence and Senate intelligence committees. Are these not misnomers? I find there is little intelligence in either house. They seem to not be able to agree on anything but disagreeing on everything. So sad for people who are supposed to be looking out for our best interest.

The state of the union is fine. Congress is in a mess.
Wall funding
If everybody who voted for Trump would donate $90 there would be enough for his $5.7 billion wall.

Voters need to explain to their Senators and Representatives just what is going to happen to their job security if they do not start taking care of the people's business before their own.

Wall funding?
Think of all the countless hours wasted hours complaining about Clinton losing,multiply it by,say California prevailing wage of about $50 and there's plenty of cash.
Obama promised there was before he laughed and said there weren't "shovel ready" jobs. I'd say he was purposely ignoring a wall. It's been shovel ready for years.
Getting back the green energy money from all the bankrupt companies would be a good start.
Maybe a $1 tax on pink hats. Wouldn't be that much but I'd love to see those women(loose term)and the Pound Me Too crowd actually have something to complain about.
And then there's the pallets of money sent to Iran.
Don't forget the billions lost by the GM bond holders.
A surcharge on US cash sent to Mexico by illegals here would build a pretty nice wall.

Shutdown, security: True, the Socialist Democrats don't want to offend their future/current voter base of Illegals and freeloaders.
Team Congress: Team Nancy and Chucky are the losers which as the caller stated caused the citizens of the USA to be losers in their safety concerns.
Shutdown costs: President Trump was on the job during the partial shutdown and where were the Democrats - partying in the sun.
Intelligence where: The only best interest is to each of the national parties.
Congress, mess: Nancy thinks that she owns the House but it's the citizens of the USA that does.
Wall funding: We shouldn't have to donate $90....we pay taxes and the protection from a southern Wall should be a no brainer.
And that's the way it should be according to Schaefer's World....Friday February 1, 2019.
