Ratified on this day in 1781. Proof that it is possible to get things right the first time.

  • Our first president was Hanson. I believe 12 followed him in that office. Or was it 13?

  • Voyager, Hanson was president of the government that later became the United States. There was no president of the "United States" until Washington. When the states signed on and a nation was born we had a president. I may be wrong again, if so tell me.
