From June 4 to 8, 16 Acteens from First Baptist Church in Jackson traveled back to Wasilla, Alaska, to run a girls camp. The team also planned, organized, brought supplies and set up camp in 2011. This year the camp had 41 local residents, which consisted of girls from first to sixth grade. They participated in morning mission rotations, afternoon free-time activities, such as canoeing, fishing, archery, pellet guns and swimming. Afternoon classes covered topics, such as nature, sign language, scrapbooking, knitting and balloon training. With about 20 hours of daylight, the day ended with worship and night games.
