What extracurricular activities were you involved in? Can you tell us a little bit about your experiences?
I played basketball and golf. This year, my senior year, we made it to state in both. We placed third in Class IA State Basketball.
Who is your role model, and why?
My parents, because they have supported me and helped me through everything.
What is your favorite high-school memory?
Going to state in basketball. No one thought our basketball team would make it, but we worked very hard, and it paid off.
What are your plans after graduation? Where do you plan to attend school, and have you decided your major? If so, tell us why you chose that path:
I am attending Southeast Missouri State in the fall. This is where both of my parents and my sister graduated. I am leaning towards an accounting major, but it will be something in business.
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?
Work hard in high school. It will pay off.
In just three words, describe your high-school experience: Worth it all.
Name: Hannah Clark
School: Advance High School
Parents' names: Michael and Angela Clark
What extracurricular activities were you involved in? Can you tell us a little bit about your experiences?
Softball, volleyball and cheerleading. I love sports and competing. My favorite high-school memories come from games and practices. High school wouldn't have been the same without sports.
Who is your role model, and why?
My mom. She's my best friend, and I hope to be half the person she is.
What is your favorite high-school memory?
All of my freshman year softball season. That team was something special.
What are your plans after graduation? Where do you plan to attend school, and have you decided your major? If so, tell us why you chose that path:
Attend the University of Missouri (MIZ!) where I was accepted into the journalism school and major in sports broadcast journalism. I like to talk, and I like sports, so it's the best of both worlds.
What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?
Give 100 percent in everything you do these next four years. Don't be content with mediocrity.
In just three words, describe your high-school experience: Social. Busy. Patience.
