Scholarships

Ashley Elizabeth Nussbaum of St. Albans, Mo., has received a $1,000 scholarship grant from Beta Sigma Phi. She received it from the Dorothy and Walter W. Ross Memorial/Exemplar Scholarship Fund at Beta Sigma Phi's Founder's Day banquet at Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson. She was sponsored for the scholarship by the women's organization's local chapter, Alpha Mu Master in Cape Girardeau, where her grandmother, Gwendolyn Nussbaum, is a member.

Preston Todd Beal, a recent graduate of Advance High School, has received the MFA Foundation Scholarship, sponsored by SEMO MFA Agri Services in Advance, Mo. He plans to attend Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
