Kayla Jean Erlbacher, daughter of Tommy and Tammy Erlbacher of Delta, has been awarded the Mary Maud and Norvell Hosea Memorial Scholarship presented by the Whitewater Order of the Eastern Star #174. Erlbacher will attend Three Rivers College at Sikeston, Mo., in the fall.

Beasley receives MFA scholarship

Katelyn Marie Beasley, a 2013 graduate of Jackson High School, has been awarded a $2,000 MFA Board of Directors scholarship. Katelyn is the daughter of Bill and Christy Beasley. She plans to attend Missouri State University in Springfield, Mo.

Icaza graduates from Truman State University

Leigh Anne Icaza of Jackson received a Master of Arts in Leadership at Truman State University's graduation ceremonies on May 11. Icaza is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ramiro Icaza and a graduate of Jackson High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Truman State University is located in Kirksville, Mo.
