Scholarships

* The following students received scholarships to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 2010-2011 school year: Rikki Legrand of Marble Hill, Mo., and Gunnar Dry of Jackson each received a President's Scholarship; Emily Myers of Cape Girardeau received a President's Plus Scholarship; Ambrea Moore of Cape Girardeau received a President's Scholarship and Missouri Leadership award.

Honors, achievements

* Michelle Dirnberger of Jackson and Emily Younghouse of Cape Girardeau were named to the first-semester honors dean's list at Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. Dirnberger is a sophomore studying fashion marketing and management. Younghouse is a senior studying fashion marketing and management.
